Help the Homeless

This Christmas

36 new people become homeless every day. This year, 320,000 people were recorded as homeless in Britain. That is a rise of 14,000 people compared to last year.

Spiralling rents, welfare cuts and a total lack of social housing, record numbers of people are sleeping out on the streets or stuck in the cramped confines of a hostel room.

Northampton has one of the highest rates of homelessness in the East Midlands. We are a community. Together, we can make our community better. That starts with kindness, compassion and love this Christmas.

With your help, Sol Haven Farm and Natasha, The Loving Chef are creating individual boxes for clients at the The Hope Centre in Northampton, whose work helps people experiencing the most acute problems of disadvantage, exclusion and marginalisation.

Each box includes;

  1. Personal Hygiene items

  2. Warm clothing

  3. Food vouchers

  4. A Christmas Present
